Midwest Solar Solutions was a wonderful choice for our solar! All parts of the installation went very smoothly, and when the inspectors came to check everything they asked who did our work- we said MW Solar Solutions and they said then they knew things would have been done right. All the workers were friendly and informative. After everything was done, our solar has been working great for several months now. We had batteries installed as well. When our A/C is not on, we’re practically not using any grid power, and even when the A/C is running our grid dependence is significantly less. They helped guide us through the rebates and tax incentives to make everything more affordable too. Selling power back into the grid has been a neat benefit as well. This was a big jump for us but I am very glad we did it and we had this company do it for us.

I am really happy that after talking to about a dozen different solar companies, we chose to work with Midwest Solar. They were knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, straightforward and down to earth through the whole process. We got exactly the kind of build that we wanted (A pergola in our backyard, something none of the other companies we talked to could do), upgraded our electrical box and panel, and are now producing enough energy to sustain our household needs (with room to grow if needed!). When I shopped around for a company to perform a solar panel install on my house I wanted to find a place that was reputable. A lot of the solicitors you see walking around door to door don’t have an actual physical location you can look up and to make warranty claims you’d have to call the person that sold it to you but there was never any answer as to what happens if they don’t work there anymore. Enter Midwest Solar Solutions. I called this place up and was blown away at their professionalism every step of the way. The owner broke down all of the costs, rebates we’d be eligible for and offered his services with absolutely zero pressure and left the door open for several months so we could ask random questions along the way. Once we signed on for an install they reached out every 2 weeks with updates on the timeline for our project start time and made all of the required paperwork and absolute breeze. The install itself went very smoothly and the workers were very nice, professional and I was happy to see they were well prepared for their own safety with many precautions in place while they were up there. After the install it was very simple to figure out how to apply for our government funded rebates and the amounts that were given to us by the company on what we could expect were spot on. The app used to track your solar panel performance is awesome and very intuitive. The owner even stops by to make sure you understand it and to address any concerns you may have had in the whole process. He genuinely cares about making sure his business is run well and improves on anything that needs work but I’m definitely here to say I was impressed for every step of the way! Also, the solar panels themselves are very nice and just a solid black color which looks better to me than some of the panels you see around that have grey lines crossed throughout.
